The Garmin Approach R50 is a premium golf launch monitor and simulator built to help you fine-tune your form with precision. Powered by an advanced 3-camera system, it captures the detailed metrics you need to understand and improve every swing — whether you're indoors or out on the range.
Everything at Your Fingertips
The 10" built-in color touchscreen display puts your game in the palm of your hand. Tap into real-time insights, select courses, review impact videos, or jump straight into a virtual round — all directly from the device (subscription required).
Advanced Performance Metrics
Dial in your swing with more than 15 ball and club measurements, including ball speed, launch angle, and face-to-path (included tracking sticker required). Enjoy improved spin rate and spin axis readings that stay accurate both indoors and outside.
Understand Every Part of Your Game
Training mode tracks stats for each club in your bag and generates a shot dispersion chart based on an advanced ball flight trajectory model, giving you a complete picture of your performance and where to focus next.
Play Virtual Rounds on 43,000+ Courses
With the Home Tee Hero feature (active Garmin Golf membership required), play virtual rounds — including putting — with up to four players across more than 43,000 courses. Compete in weekly tournaments and post your scores to the global leaderboard, all viewable right from the Approach R50 display.
Instant Visual Feedback
View high-speed impact videos for immediate feedback on exactly how you're striking each shot, so you can make adjustments on the spot.
Accurate Distances in Any Conditions
A built-in barometer measures atmospheric pressure to deliver accurate carry distances based on your specific location, ensuring your numbers are always reliable.
Expand Your Simulator Experience
Connect to a monitor or projector via HDMI for additional customizable viewing options and an unmatched simulator experience on the big screen.
Ready to Go Wherever You Play
Easily set up, stow, or take your Approach R50 to the range with the included carrying case and up to 4 hours of battery life for play anywhere.
